In Colour

I have found myself jumping into pieces without a concrete colour palette, and so to practice more thoughtfulness, this piece was done with detail to the relationship of colour and light. As a reference and for inspiration, I used a photo of Asmahan via Wikimedia Commons. This photo is monochrome and pushed me to vibrantly represent the highlights and shadows with tints, tones, an shades of the colour palette, which is influenced by Birth of Venus, 2016 by Walter Bachinski, pochoir.
