Neon Nights!

This piece was created as an artistic revisitation of architecture, reinterpreting an urban scene through my evolving use of colour and stylized technique. I challenged myself by taking on a subject I don’t usually explore and focused on transforming a reference into a work that reflects my personal style. This reflects the importance of creative interpretation in an artist’s development. The cityscape is based on Nanjing Road (via handluggageonly.co.uk), with additional inspiration drawn from Thy Hoang’s pieces Run Away and Deal with the Devil.
