Portrait

A self-portrait was my first piece in Art 20 IB, and is still one of my favourites I have made. Exploration of texture, colours concerning flesh tones, and abstract use of colour to depict myself is observed in this work. It taught me a lot about painting techniques and the use of brush strokes. For one of my first times using paint for a serious project, the textures and result of the work are something I am proud of and have given me a point of reference to grow and improve.
